Ok so it has been awhile since I have posted but here I am at this early hour.
I got home not too long ago from Melissa M.'s house because tonight she hosted Mark Z. birthday party. Ok so it was probably not really a "party" sure there was food and cake and cookies but does that mean it really was a party. We did sing "Happy Birthday" and Mark did receive a few cards and even balloons. We watched "A Night at the Museum" which by the way was hilarious and then we had a choice of "Batman Returns" or "Superman Returns"...Batman won. Earlier in the evening I merely asked Pete if he would take me for a ride in his Mustang...sweet. He showed me a teeny tiny bit of what it could do so we did not go to it's full potential.
I am on my second night off of four days off. I so needed the time. I call it a mini vacation without using any of my vacation days. I put myself into a meeting Thursday morning that I was not invited to only because I was worried that a couple of my night girls were going to get in trouble over something that happened a week ago. I was wrong because the DON and other nurse had not heard of the trouble that I was speaking of. I did get to stay for this meeting and I say it was a good thing for me to have stayed because now I know what I need to do to help these other coworkers out. I did not get home until after 10am and that's after working 12 hours already.
When I got home Thursday I decided to help my mom paper her bedroom so that got started about 11 am. We worked until 1pm then I absolutely needed some sleep so I caught a nap until probably around 5-6pm and remember I had not yet slept yet for the day. We picked back up around 6:30-7 pm and worked until 9pm and it still was not finished. This morning I was busy again, but this time I was shuttling my brother to fields so that he could plant and I was mowing the yard for my mom. There is so much to mow. I then worked on her bedroom some more until 3:30pm when I decided that I really should start getting ready for this evening.
So now we are at the early hour or late hour however you want to put it.

Why Bother
I sit sometimes here at my computer and think "why bother to blog". I lead a boring life...honestly. I work, sleep, study my bible and try to study to get into gear to go back to nursing school. And yes my list was out of order. I can say that this is a way to let things out in a way and if perchance someone should cruise by here then they can have something to read....don't know how interesting it will be but it's a read and read it to put you to sleep I really don't mind.

Am I getting this figured out yet?
Though no one held a gun to my head and said "Start a blog" I heard several people in the Career Class making comments about blogs. I have to admit I am not as computer savvy as some and my blog may not be as interesting as the others, but hey why not make a blog. I do realize that this is my third post, but better late than never to admit that. To some and probably me included if I really wanted to admit it a blog is more or less an online diary that someone else can come along and read. I know that some use it as a way to invite people to do things instead of using a mass e-mail.
As you can clearly see my blog is pretty much generic. I could not even come up with a cool name for it. I mean why "My Originals"? I actually did come up with some cool names; however, they were already used. I did come up with one cool title, but figured that it would take too long to type in and I wondered how others would take it. Some people would not care how others took things, but I am one who tries to think ahead and visualize what others might say or think of something that I do or say.
Why Psalm 23 under the "About Me"? I like that passage from the Bible. The Lord is my shepherd and I shall follow Him. I find strength that I need from this passage. The whole Bible is full of places to find strength, but Psalm 23 is where I turn to a lot.
I am still locating a decent and recent picture of me to use on this post. Of course, once I find this infamous picture I will have the pleasure of trying to figure out how to post it....remember I am not all that computer savvy. I just figured out how to post a tag line onto the title of my blog. (I know that is not very original either.)
