Ok, so by now everyone who is everyone knows about the earthquake this morning. So I question this...what were you doing when the earth moved?
I happened to be up catching up on some TV viewing from this week when I felt the vibration through my couch. I thought at first "Boy the ceiling fan downstairs sure is powerful" but then my cat sat up (she was stretched out so nice on the floor)and then I saw my lamps shaking and about could swear (that's probably not the right term) I saw my walls shake as well. I thought "tornado, but where's the sound" then of course like a light bulb that turned on I realized that I had just gone through an earthquake. I have to admit during what seemed like an eternity of this occurring I was a bit scared because I did not know what was happening. I turned on our local station, but they were not mentioning anything...um..so then I flipped to the Indianapolis stations and had it confirmed that it was indeed and earthquake. No big deal...I guess. The second quake or I should say aftershock later on at 11am or so woke me up (I was taking a siesta) and heard the lamps shaking again. I was much calmer that time and told myself that it was just an aftershock and finished my nap.
So I survived a 5.4 and a 4.? aftershock....just don't ask me to live in California.

I didn't even notice the first one, I was still fighting getting up and hit the snooze. CLEARLY I am a heavy sleeper. The second one I was talking to some fellow teachers in the office and we all felt it
